About the Opportunity
ElectusPeople is seeking experienced and compassionate Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to support older Australians receiving care in their own homes across Brisbane.
We work with respected aged care providers to deliver reliable, quality care and are looking for dedicated professionals who value independence, dignity and person-centred support.
With predominantly daytime shifts and a minimum shift length of five hours, this is a great opportunity for experienced care professionals seeking consistent, flexible casual work.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assist clients with personal care, including showering, dressing, grooming and toileting.
- Support mobility, safe transfers and daily living activities.
- Provide companionship and promote independence and wellbeing.
- Assist with meal preparation and light domestic duties where required.
- Observe and report changes in clients’ health or wellbeing.
- Maintain accurate care documentation and follow individual care plans.
- Deliver respectful, person-centred care in clients’ homes.
What We’re Looking For
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing), Aged Care or an equivalent relevant qualification.
- Previous experience in aged care, preferably in community or in-home care.
- A reliable car and a valid driver’s licence (not necessarily Australian-issued, provided it is legally recognised for driving in Queensland).
- Appropriate vehicle insurance for work-related travel.
- A current National Police Check or willingness to obtain one.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check where required.
- Relevant immunisation records in line with client requirements.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification, where required.
- Valid Australian working rights.
- A reliable, compassionate and professional approach to care.
