What participants gain
Practical outcomes each person walks away with.
The 5-step program
Five one-hour sessions with practical tools participants can use straight away.
Session one
Turn a job disruption into a career advantage
We introduce the program, walk through the participant’s career history and achievements, and map out their immediate plans and long-term goals.
Session two
Reposition your skills and experience
We share what is happening in the job market right now, including in-demand skills, industry trends and salary expectations. We also assess the participant’s resume, cover letters, referees and online profile.
Session three
Modern hiring and your job search strategy
Hiring has changed. Generic applications do not work. We review the updates made to the participant’s resume and online presence, confirm their most valuable transferable skills, and build a job search strategy targeted at the right industries and employers.
Session four
Interviews that count
Rather than scripted answers, this session covers presentation, non-verbal communication and the behaviours that decide interview outcomes. Mock interviews build real confidence.
Session five
Progress and wellbeing check
A follow-up session to review progress, answer questions and share extra strategies, from handling rejection to staying focused and on track.
Pricing
Total program: 5 hours per participant. Fixed per-person pricing you can budget into a redundancy package.

Good to know
The questions employers ask us most.
What are outplacement services?
Outplacement services, also called career transition services, are career support programs an employer funds for staff who are being made redundant. The goal is to help those people find new work faster. A typical program covers career planning, resume and online profile updates, job search strategy and interview preparation.
Is outplacement mandatory in Australia?
No. There is no legal requirement for Australian employers to provide outplacement. It is a choice. Employers offer it because it helps departing staff land on their feet, protects the company’s reputation, and shows remaining staff that the business treats people well through change.
How much do outplacement services cost?
Outplacement in Australia commonly costs $1,000 to $3,000 per person for mid-tier programs, and executive programs can run to $10,000 or more. Our 5-Step Outplacement Program is $350 for junior staff, $998 for mid-tier professionals and $2,500 for senior management and executives. Each program is five one-hour sessions.
Can outplacement be delivered online?
Yes. Our program runs fully online by video, so we can support your staff anywhere in Australia. In-person sessions are available across Brisbane and Queensland. Online delivery also makes it easier to support staff in regional locations or working remotely.
Who pays for outplacement?
The employer pays. Outplacement is usually offered as part of a redundancy package, and it costs the departing employee nothing. If you are an individual whose employer is not offering outplacement, our career coaching packages cover the same ground and you can fund those yourself.
What is included in an outplacement program?
Our program runs across five sessions: a career review and goal setting session, a job market and personal brand session, a job search strategy session, an interview skills session with mock interviews, and a follow-up session on progress and wellbeing. Participants finish with an updated resume, a sharper online profile and a targeted job search plan.
Why should an employer offer outplacement?
Three reasons. Departing staff find work faster, which reduces the chance of disputes and bad reviews. Remaining staff see the business doing the right thing, which protects morale during a restructure. And your company’s reputation as an employer stays intact, which matters the next time you need to hire.
Can you run outplacement for one employee?
Yes. We support single redundancies as readily as team restructures. Small businesses often only need to support one person, and the per-person pricing above applies whether it is one participant or twenty.
How is outplacement different from career coaching?
The content is similar but the setup is different. Outplacement is employer-funded, structured as a set program, and specifically designed for people affected by redundancy. Career coaching is self-funded and flexible, where you pick the topics you want. If your employer offers you outplacement, take it. If not, coaching gets you the same tools.
