About the Role
We are inviting expressions of interest from experienced Assistant in Nursing (AIN) professionals to fill upcoming positions in aged care, community care, and hospital settings. As an AIN, your responsibilities may include:
- Assisting Registered Nurses (RNs) with patient care tasks such as personal hygiene, feeding, and mobility support.
- Monitoring patient conditions and reporting changes to the nursing team.
- Assisting with the administration of medications under the supervision of an RN.
- Supporting patients with daily activities and rehabilitation exercises.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring confidentiality.
- Providing emotional and psychological support to patients and their families.
- Following infection control and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
Key Requirements:
- Current Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, or Nursing Assistant (or equivalent).
- Current AHPRA registration (if applicable).
- Previous experience working as an Assistant in Nursing (AIN) in aged care or hospital settings (preferred).
- Strong understanding of patient care and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings (for some roles).
