The team at this 82-bed facility in Broken Hill NSW seeks an experienced APHR registered Clinical Manager with the clinical expertise and leadership confidence to drive day to day care operations, and uphold high-quality, individualised clinical care outcomes for their residents with advanced care needs.
With your focus on maintaining care quality and overseeing clinical governance of services, you will coach and mentor your teams to high performance and accountability. Other key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing clinical care planning, assessments and documentation.
- Maintaining full compliance against Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant legislation.
- Lead clinical governance, quality improvement and risk management initiatives.
- Support accreditation readiness and continuous quality improvement activities.
Essential criteria to take on this role:
- A working history in clinical leadership or care management of multidisciplinary residential aged care teams.
- A comprehensive grasp of the Aged Care Quality Standards and current aged care reforms.
- Confident understanding of clinical governance and risk management.
- Solid capability in making clear and accurate clinical assessments and decisions.
- Experience managing infection prevention and control programs.
