About the Role
ElectusPeople is looking for experienced Registered Nurses to work across our residential aged care partners in Queensland.
With the new Aged Care Act now in effect, facilities are required to have a Registered Nurse on site around the clock. That means steady, ongoing work for nurses who want it, across day, evening, night and weekend shifts.
You will deliver hands-on clinical care to residents, support care staff on the floor, and help facilities meet their care minute requirements. You will be part of a structured team in a community living environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care and oversight to residents in an aged care facility
- Assess, plan and review resident care in line with the new Aged Care Act
- Manage and administer medications safely
- Guide and support Personal Care Workers and Assistants in Nursing
- Keep accurate, compliant clinical documentation
- Build trusted relationships with residents, families and facility staff
What We’re Looking For
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- 2+ years’ experience in residential or community aged care
- Confident clinical judgment and the ability to work independently
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Current Police Check, First Aid/CPR, and COVID-19 vaccination
